Today LEGO has revealed the next Fairground Collection set, 10303 Loop Coaster. With 3,756 pieces, this gigantic roller coaster includes the feature fans were clamoring for when LEGO released 10261 Roller Coaster in 2018: a full loop. In fact, the set has two of them, with the coaster’s riders lifted to the top of a 36-inch tall (92 cm) elevator tower then plummeting down a precipitous incline before going around two large loops. The set also includes 11 minifigures and can be motorized, though the motor elements are sold separately. It will retail for US $399.99 | CAN $499.99 | UK £344.99 when it’s available starting July 1.

LEGO® LOOP COASTER – PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE

THRILL SEEKERS GET READY FOR THE NEW LEGO LOOP COASTER

7th June 2022: The LEGO Group has revealed the spectacular new LEGO® Loop Coaster set.  Not for the faint hearted, the new set is a staggering 92cm tall – making it one of the tallest LEGO sets.

Inspired by some of the world’s most thrilling rides, the Loop Coaster is an immersive build filled with twists and turns. Exciting features will be uncovered along the build, including an innovative elevator tower for raising the car up to the top of the ride and two gravity defying loops. Builders can also power up the ride with motorized components, which are available separately, which will raise the elevator up automatically.

Guaranteed to generate a crowd, this playful set also contains eleven minifigures, including a ride operator, balloon seller, pretzel seller, hot-dog seller, a grandma, a young boy, and five rollercoaster riders.

Commenting on the set, LEGO Designer Pierre Normandin says: “When we were designing this set, we wanted to recreate the feeling experienced when it just begins to tip over the highest point. Perfect for play or display, we are excited to add this set into the LEGO Fairground Collection.

The LEGO Loop Coaster set, available from 1st July 2022 via LEGO Stores and www.lego.com/loop-coaster, at the recommended retail price of 399.99 EUR/ 599.99 AUD/ 344.99 GBP/ 399.99 USD/ 499.99 CAD

The new 1/4 inverted loop part is what I’ve been most eagerly anticipating about the new set. Unfortunately, the steep ramp and bow track parts are not used in this set (in the new yellow color), so there will still be no single color produced that is available for 100% of the track part varieties. I will continue to build the large looping roller coaster MOC I’ve been working on using the old looping techniques other people have successfully used with the red curved and inverted bow track parts.

Why did the coaster disappear during the first loop? Weird

The stickers in photo #17 are upside down. But yeah GREAT set Looks epic!

The stickers aren’t upside-down, the roller coaster goes upside-down when the pictures are taken. Thus, the riders are upside-down in their photos. The camera (Which physically exists in the set, nicely enough) is set up to shoot the top of one of the loops.

Yes! THE POWERED UP SWITCH BATTERY BOX! I love it. I hope the battery box will be out on bricklink soon :D
